Costumed Life Drawing Sailor

This is a piece of art I did in Bob Kato's Drawing Club in Los Angeles. I really enjoyed the shapes and proportions of this character. That barrel is quite the looker as well. I think I tested out some further designs with more characters in this style.

Rat Face Imp

The final Imp in the trio is Rat Face. This again is not the final design I plan on inking. 
I will have to try some variations before I finalize this guy.

Little Bat Imp

This little guy is the second Imp in my trio. I call him Bats, and he looks a little like Gilbert Gottfried. He also is going through some redesigns to see what he looks like with some EC comic flair.

Chubby Imp Ink Test

Here is a sample inking of the Chubby Imp. I was unsure of what I wanted to do so he is inked in two styles. His head and arms was styled more like a superhero style. While his legs, butt and wings was inked more with EC comics in mind. So I did some head studies with a different look to match the EC comic style.

Enamel Chubby Imp Pins

These are two separate takes on the chubby imp as an enamel pin. This design actually started as a pin before I decided to go with postcard sized prints. That way I could be more detailed and gross.

Imp or Cherub

This is an imp from a trio being designed for postcard size prints. I have been retooling the design from a very simply look that was planned as an enamel pin. The final will be traditionally inked.
